In 2023, India’s fresh fruit and vegetable exports experienced significant growth. Fresh fruit exports surged by 29% between April and December, reaching 111 countries, compared to 102 the previous year. Notable performers included bananas, with a 63% growth, and mango varieties such as Kesar and Dasheri, which grew by over 120%. These products contributed to the agricultural export sector’s value of $53.1 billion for 2022-23, with fresh produce playing a major role in this growth​ – Freshplaza

Fresh vegetables also showed impressive export increases, complementing India’s reputation as a global agricultural supplier.
